Health, Safety & Environment Network: 
Sharing best practices to drive improvement

On 31 May 2011, Plastic Omnium invited 60 members of the Health, Safety & Environment network to attend a convention at its headquarters in Levallois, led by the HSE Department. The Company's three divisions were represented, as were 16 country organizations.

The convention's main goal was to ensure the smooth deployment of all safety programs worldwide in order to achieve the key objectives set for 2012. These include eliminating all serious accidents through equipment compliance upgrades and workstation audits, providing Top Safety training to all team managers in order to systematically develop safe on-the-job behavior, and getting rid of any toxic products used in manufacturing processes.
