Plastic Omnium

Plastic Omnium provides a variety of services and industrial solutions that offer an alternative to waste incineration or dumping.

The Plastic Omnium Recycling subsidiary, based in Saint-Eusèbe, France, supports manufacturers seeking ISO 14001 environmental certification and recovers a wide range of plastic products, including householder product containers, wheeled bins made of high-density polyethylene, polypropylene bumpers and wheel wells, and telephone parts made of ABS.

Synergies with other Plastic Omnium businesses have been developed, notably in:
• Regenerating plastic for use in the manufacture of new waste collection equipment marketed by Plastic Omnium Urban Systems.
• Creating new channels for reusing scrap automobile parts and supplying Plastic Omnium Auto Exterior plants with regenerated plastic.
From product design in its research and development centers to the recycling of scrap plastic and end-of-life products, Plastic Omnium is firmly committed to responsible environmental stewardship

In 2002, Plastic Omnium Recycling processed 8,000 metric tons of waste plastic.
