Innovations for the Next Generation of Mobility
Plastic Omnium and MIT organised the “Innovations for the Next Generation of Mobility” Symposium on 17 October 2023, as part of the MIT-ILP (Industrial Liaison Program).
Innovation in mobility was at the heart of the discussions between MIT scientific experts and Plastic Omnium representatives.
On the agenda: the potential of hydrogen, the challenges of artificial intelligence and its impact on mobility, the emergence of new technologies (nanotechnologies, additive manufacturing technology) and sustainable materials.
The Symposium was opened by speeches from Laurent Favre, CEO of Plastic Omnium, Félicie Burelle, Managing Director and John Roberts, Acting Executive Director of MIT Corporate Relations.
A number of experts then led thematic sessions, including a round table entitled ‘Going Vertical’, with the participation of Félicie Burelle, Chris Smith, Vice-President of Marketing for regional and long-distance truck and bus transport at Michelin, Corinne de Bilbao, CEO of Microsoft France, Minggang Zhang, Deputy Managing Director of Huawei France, and moderated by Philippe Dewost, Former Managing Director of EPITA.
